Birthday in Boston (3/2012)

For my birthday this year we went on a little road trip.  We stopped off at Plymouth Rock.  Here are some pictures of the Mayflower 2 replica.  unfortunately, we were too late for the museums, etc.
Me on the dock.

Cute, little birds chilling out.
The Rock with 1620, the year the Pilgrims landed etched into it.
Here's my "proof" I was there as my husband would say - just barely made it down in the corner.

Day of my birthday we went to the Boston Science Museum.  It is really big with lots of displays and activities to do.  I had two favorite parts.  First were the adorable, fluffy chicks.
Some monkeys (cute but surprisingly not one of the top two favorites)..
Me in the space ship (cool but not one of the top two favorites).
The second favorite was the Geco Exhibit.  Didn't get enough pictures but this one was big with different colors.
Here is the cutest little geco ever.
See the little smile on his face?
Well that is all for pictures.  Overall it was a nice birthday.  Thank you to everyone for the birthday wishes, calls, and presents!!

A Third TIme - Girls Only Though

I went home to Vegas again for part of my Christmas present - to see my #1 obsession George Strait for the thrid time in concert.  Had a good time running some errands with the boys and Connie - really not sure how she does it all by herself with the three of them.  Here are Kade and Kyle keeping entertained with the phones in Office Max and me hoping it will keep their interest.

Getting ready to see the man, George Strait.  First year with a belt buckle and wearing my new shirt, new earrings.  Next time for the concert I will have some cow girl boots.
Trying to get a picture with Molly, but my arms are obviously too short.
Almost got her cute, sweet little face in.  Too bad she's not looking up.
We went to eat first then off to the concert.  Here's me, Connie, and Erica in the entrance to the MGM Grand.
Martina McBride as the opening act - pretty amazing.
A little fuzzy but here he is!!

Classic!
I could have stayed ALL night!  Thank you so much to my parents for the fabulous gift.  I am always excited for anything George Strait.  Thanks also to Mom, Connie and Erica for coming with me.
Got a good one of Molly.
Ohhhh . . . snuck one of the fearless Kitty.
