Pool Party & BBQ

On the last day of August, Little Aubrey was super excited to meet lots more family and especially to see Daddy.  Here she is playing under the awesome play gym Mom & Bryan got her before everyone started arriving.  I absolutely LOVE each of these pictures.

When Daddy arrived with Florence, Kent and three additional cousins to meet, we took a walk to feed the ducks.  Thanks to Florence for these pictures.

Back at home.

Meeting Grandma Thompson, who Aubrey gets her middle name Carole from, was precious.
Once everyone came, the swimming began.  All of us had tons of fun!!  It was amazing to see how Kade, Kyle, and Connor, each in their own way, wee braver in the water in just one year.
Little Cam loves being in the airplane boat.
All of them love boats and goggles as displayed by Kade's excitement in these two photos.

Keila having a good time despite being the only little girl, besides Aubrey.

This boat was a huge hit.
Oh . . . My little girl all geared up for swim time.

Connor loves her.  He made sure the hat wasn't covering her eyes.
He even tried giving her some pool toys to play with.
With Daddy in the spa.
Super cute with Kade and Connor.
Being held by Grandma some more.  Lucky girl.
Elias and Cam hanging out.
We had lots and lots of yummy food thanks to Grandma & Grandpa.
Aubrey immediately feel in love with old Grandpa - such a blissfully content girl each time he held her like this!

Many, many thanks to Mom and Bryan for making such a fun, memorable day for all of us.  Family time is wonderful!

Chilling Out At Grandma & Grandpa's

Aubrey and I enjoyed the all day company with Grandma at home.  As you can see, Aubrey felt right at home.
The butterfly snuggle bug is a must have with her particularly at bedtime.
Kind of dark but super cute after bath.
So fun to see her waking up.
Really happy to see a face on this morning.

Kitty's new sleep spot is under the desk in the family room.  It was nice to see her not being scared to death of Aubrey.  In fact I think she liked her.

First Flight - Home To Vegas

Together, Aubrey and I braved our first flight on August 26th.  I packed the diaper bag with lots of extras and it turned out that the extra preparation was wise.  She was a perfect little girl all cuddled up with Mommy!!  No nightmare stories for us with flying so far.  Here she is as we waited for our flight to leave

Back in the carseat at the end of our flight.  As you can see, we did need to change her outfit due to spit up thankfully.
Meeting Grandma, Aunt Connie, and little cousins at the baggage carousel.  They were fascinated with her from the start.
Mom got a really good picture of lots of hands touching Aubrey.

Throughout the trip home, Connor loved taking care of little Aubrey.  He would give her her binkie, tuck her blankie around her, fold up her burp cloths for her, and give her kisses.
Kade holding her once he came home from his first day of school.
After our long day but exciting day, we shopped for a few supplies then brought Aubrey to Grandma and Grandpa's.  She was so excited for bath and sleep time.  Here she is taking her first bath there.
