Yale University Graduation Day 5/25/09

Even though my actual graduation was not until December of '09, our program walks with the other Yale grads at the regular graduation ceremony in May.

My study group and I (missing Catherine)

 What a crowd.
 My class mates.
My class (just about all of them).
 Chelsea, Kelsey, Merry

Hilary Clinton was the guest speaker at our ceremony.  Here is a fairly good shot.

This was a great ceremony that lived up to its IV league standard.

Afterwards, I went to a Memorial Day BBQ with the Branch.  We had a blast.

Thesis Be Gone and Now Home 5/09

I finished my thesis early and went home for a much needed visit.  First are my little Molly and Kitty in the shade chillin' out.

Kitty must think it is cold for May in Vegas.
Kade and Kyle came over for a swim with Uncle Ryan and Aunt Becky.  Here is little Kyle is is swim gear.

 Kyle in the fish boat.

Wow - actually have all 4 of us looking at the camera!
Kade looks like he is not too sure if he's having fun or not.
Little Kyle.
Uncle Jeff came.  Kade is pretty excited about the BIG boat, but we couldn't find the batteries.
I LOVE this picture.  What a happy baby.

Here is mom with the little guy.

Joe came out at the end of my stay. Here we are with Kyle.

Oops!  The flash woke her up.
Kitty drinking out of my water cup in the morning.  She always sneaks up and pulls this one on me.

Molly asleep in bed with me.

 Molls waking up from sleep.

What a JOY to be home!!  Thank you to all my family for the great time!

Mark Twain Hartford 5/9/09

We were up touring around Northern CT and decided to tour Mark Twain's house.  This was exciting to me because in one of my English classes ages ago I did a report about Mark Twain.  Twain wrote the majority of his most famous novels in this home.

Of this home he wrote: "To us, our house . . . had a heart, and a soul, and eyes to see us with; and approvals and solicitudes and deep sympathies; it was of us, and we were in its confidence and lived in its grace and in the peace of its benediction."

A model of the Hartford home inside the museum.

After the inside tour, we took a few shots of the real home.

Birds Bathing

One day when I was at the Medical School Campus in rainy CT, some birds brightened my day.  They were swimming around in this small puddle of water splashing around and dunking in oblivious to the hustle and bustle surrounding them.

Yale Law Drama

Alan Hurst, of Yale Law, acted in a play put on by his fellow students.  Alan was terrific and his outfit was pretty awesome.
