We were up touring around Northern CT and decided to tour Mark Twain's house. This was exciting to me because in one of my English classes ages ago I did a report about Mark Twain. Twain wrote the majority of his most famous novels in this home.
Of this home he wrote: "To us, our house . . . had a heart, and a soul, and eyes to see us with; and approvals and solicitudes and deep sympathies; it was of us, and we were in its confidence and lived in its grace and in the peace of its benediction."
A model of the Hartford home inside the museum.
After the inside tour, we took a few shots of the real home.
