Psychiatric Pigeons 2/2009

During February of 2009, I did my psychiatry rotation - inpatient - at the VA.  Besides two weeks on IM2, this was by far my least favorite month of rotations.  It kind of frightened me when one of my advisors informed that psychiatry may be a great fit for me - I worked well with the patients.

Anyways, one thing that got a chuckle out of me each day was the pigeons and sea gulls in the parking lot.  As you drive up to park, they don't move too fast.  They kind of just turned their heads starred down my car then sauntered off at a slow pace.  Here they are:
