On Tuesday the 18th, we got Aubrey all dressed up to go for a ride prior to saying goodbye to Grandpa.
We drove by the Rangers and Cowboys Stadiums and Joe's University. Then we had some drive-in Sonic for lunch. Afterwards, it was time to bid farewell for now to Grandpa as Joe drove him to the airport.
The following day Grandma and I took Aubrey on her first shopping excursion. She did really, really well and was adorable in her flamingo romper.
At the end of our shopping, it was 7pm time for Aubrey's one week birthday. We snapped a picture of her and sang to her too.
Once Joe came home from work, we lit a candle on our bundtlet and made a wish for her.
Over the next few days we took her out again to find a few last items to finish off her bathroom and grab some things we needed.
Mom and Bryan helped me get the bathroom all finished and tied together. The magic touch came with Mom finding the carpets which really made everything look great!
Then came Sunday the 23rd when we had to say goodbye to Grandma. Luckily, Aubrey and I got her schedule to coincide with being able to go with Budd and take mom up to the airport. Here is Aubrey saying "Bye Bye" to Grandma.
We are so grateful to Mom and Bryan for coming to share in welcoming Aubrey into the world. They helped us out lots and lots while they were here too. Little Aubrey, Daddy and I will miss them lots, but can't wait to see them in August!
