A Wedding In Mesa!

The day after Christmas we headed out for our short drive (five hours or so) to Phoenix for one of my BFF's, Bethany, wedding.  So we said goodbye for a little bit to everyone.

What a great picture of Grandpa and Baby together.
Aubrey is ready for her short drive.
We hung out with Florence's family during our time there and had lots of fun with them.  On Friday, we went to a park near their home.
They didn't have infant swings, but they had lots of slides which Aubrey had never been on before.  She went down with Mommy.

And she went down with Daddy.

 Elias going down the slide.
 Aubrey down the slide.
Now both Elias and Aubrey together.
 Keila and Aubrey together.
On Saturday the 28th, we drove down to Gilbert for Bethany's wedding, the entire reason for our big road trip.  Aubrey looked more than adorable.
Aubrey was quit talkative on the way down so I made a video.  She stopped talking as much, but I still got her to make a few cute noises towards the end.

It was so exciting to be at Bethany's wedding from the luncheon to the sealing to the reception.  I loved that she had written and read a poem she wrote at the luncheon.  She is an inspired poet!!

Joe and Aubrey hung out outside during the sealing.  Here are a few photos Joe took out there.

What a good girl.  She even napped out there.

Although most of my favorite girls in the world couldn't be at the wedding too, it was so good to see and spend time with two of my most favorite people, Ashton and Lydia, and meet their two cute girls.
 The new couple.

 At the reception.
 What a yummy foot!
Tim and Bethany did a great job cutting the cake and smearing it on each other.
 We all danced together.
Jane, Lydia's youngest, dancing with her Mommy.
 Aubrey dancing with her Mommy.
Bethany on the dance floor twirling with both Halie and Jane.
Because of all the dancing, we got super sweaty.  So I had to take off Aubrey's tights and cardigan.  She even had crazy, sweaty hair to go with it - shows she was being a party girl.
This was really funny.  The DJ had changed the song and it was really loud and surprising.  This is Aubrey's look over there at him - totally funny look.
The decorated car.  Congratulations to Bethany and Tim!!
