We started our road trip back from Phoenix on Sunday night the 30th at about 7pm or so and arrived home at 2pm the next day so it took about 17 hours or so. Aubrey was again stellar on the entire trip. She is even happy while on a super long car ride.
Me driving in Texas.
We went to the grocery store that night and the little one is still happy after we got home from there.
New Year's Eve Aubrey and I were still in our jammies right before we went out to eat. Joe got the idea to take a picture of all of us in the mirror.
Aubrey now changed for going out. We went to a Chinese buffet restaurant that was okay, but not good enough for me to want to go back again. Either way it was fun to go out. While each of us got up to get our plate of food, we could hear Aubrey talking throughout the restaurant. It was surprising to realize just how loud she is.
Happy New Year's Aubrey!! Waking up in the morning.
We decided to go to the Fort Worth Zoo for the day. Aubrey looking good for the zoo.
There were so many people there they had parking going on in some grass across the street.
She was again excited for whatever we were doing. We enjoyed the zoo. It was much bigger than I thought it would be. Aubrey seemed to enjoy it, but she watched and noticed all the people tons more than any of the animals.
Nice cheetah.
These monkeys were throwing sticks up at everyone. Kind of funny.
Crazy how swans twist their necks huh?
Aubrey and Daddy in front of the giraffes.
Cute little baby giraffe in between the adults.
They had two adorable newborn elephants there that were I think eight and five months old. It was fun watching them run around.
This lion was hiding. You could only see his paws.
Oh how comfy they look sunbathing.
Big, pretty birds.
Cute kissing penguins.
Huge tortoise.
They had quit a few beautiful cats there.
Big yawn from this one.
This is one HUGE alligator!
Love the pose of this little guy.
We had a great day at the zoo and are excited for the upcoming year!!
