On the night of the 20th (the Friday before Christmas), we took our two cooked hams to the ward Christmas party, ate some yummy food, started on our road trip. We started the drive at about 8:30pm. Both of us were extremely impressed and surprised at how well our little Aubrey did the entire trip. Joe drove first then I took over around 3 in the morning.
Here we are at the Christmas party. Aubrey loves being in big groups I suppose because there is lots to see and she gets to be the center of attention a lot.
We ran into snow twice: outside Albuquerque then around Flagstaff. It was worse in New Mexico and actually kind of scary a couple time there, but, thankfully, we made it safe and sound.
Here is the perfect little girl on the drive happy as ever even after a little mess in the car seat!

We made it home to Las Vegas at about 2pm on the 21st so it only took about 19 hours which is pretty good especially given we had a six month old with us!
