First Christmas Eve

Wow - time flew to Aubrey's first Christmas.  Daddy brought her downstairs to see Grandma and me after she woke up.

 Later, Kitty and Aubrey took a nap.

 Very happy girl.  She is so excited for Christmas.

 We head up to Red Rock National Park for our traditional reading of The Christmas Story prior to going out to eat.  Connie brought her cute Nativity characters for us to use.

 Aubrey missed out on the first part given she was taking her second nap.  But she stayed nice and warm in her car seat!

 Eric made a little fire.  That really made the boys excited.

 Back at home following a delicious dinner at Outback Steakhouse, we had more family fun.  The boys wanted to see the baby in the manger.  She was too big to lay in it, but here she is sitting in it taking one of Kitty's new coveted spots in the hay.

 Grandma helped us put out cookies and milk for Santa and carrots for his reindeer.

 Aubrey did a great job putting things onto the plate.

 Yay!! One of my favorite traditions of opening our traditional Christmas pajamas on Christmas Eve.  The men went first.

 I am pretty sure the ladies went next, but I don't have photos of that.  Then all the kids went after that.  Kade and Cam looked so so cute sitting on this chair together

 While Kyle and Connor made the other chair look really good too.

 It was also time for Aubrey to open hers.  This would not only be her first Christmas present to open, but also her first present to ever open.

 I ADORE this one.  She looks so interested and excited wondering what fun thing we are doing now.

 And the wrapping is off.  She looks so cute in this one too helping Daddy out.

 Grandpa and Grandma found these adorable bears holding "Twas the Night Before Christmas" books that read the entire story while moving back and forth.  Aubrey has been really entertained by her little bear.

 And here are the awesome Christmas pajamas.  Aubrey is looking good again.

 Joe and I think she has a sassy look in this one that is really cute.

 Again LOVE it with her and Daddy.

 The boys also got cute reindeer slippers whose noses lite up when they walked.  Kyle getting his on so we could take pictures outside.

 This was really fun making a fire in the fire pit and making smores!! We all had fun.

 Unfortunately, Aubrey is a little blurry, but here we are snuggled up and we even have Holly Dolly!
